St. Pauls Cathedral

St Pauls Cathedral    Sir Christopher Wren’s masterpiece, and also his burial place. Situated at the top of Ludgate Hill, in the City of London, still to an extent today towering over the City of London at 356 foot (108m) to the ball and lantern. St Pauls Cathedral’s Dome is one of the largest in the world. The present Cathedral was built between 1665 and 1710 following the Great Fire of London in 1666.

The Cathedral is illuminated until late at night, the West Door being particularly imposing.
